DESCRIPTION
The Governor Plunger is a component of a diesel engine's fuel system. It is responsible for regulating the amount of fuel that enters the engine cylinders. As the engine speeds up, the plunger moves outward, increasing fuel flow to maintain a consistent speed. Conversely, as the engine slows down, the plunger moves inward, reducing fuel flow to prevent over-speeding. The proper functioning of this part ensures that the engine runs smoothly and efficiently.
