DESCRIPTION
A Gauge Contact Point, also known as ST5374, is a small but critical component in the measurement of various automotive systems such as fuel level, oil pressure, and temperature. It is typically made of metal and has a pointed end that makes contact with the gauge sender or sensor to transmit electrical signals. This interaction allows for accurate readings to be displayed on the dashboard or gauge cluster. Without a functioning Gauge Contact Point, drivers would not be able to monitor important information about their vehicle's performance, leading to potential safety hazards and costly repairs.
