DESCRIPTION
The Lubricating Oil Filter Cover Gasket, also known as part number 169802, is a gasket that seals the oil filter cover to prevent oil from leaking out. It is made of a rubber or cork material and is placed between the cover and the engine block. The gasket must be replaced when changing the oil filter to ensure proper sealing and prevent leaks. A damaged or worn gasket can lead to engine damage due to low oil pressure or contamination of the lubricating system by foreign particles.
