DESCRIPTION
The Fuel Pump, also known by part number FCE743RX, is a vital component in a truck's fuel system. Its main function is to draw fuel from the gas tank and deliver it to the engine for combustion. The pump is typically electrically powered and located inside the fuel tank or near it. It operates by using an impeller to create suction that pulls gasoline through the fuel lines and into the engine's intake manifold. A faulty fuel pump can cause poor engine performance, stalling or even complete failure to start. Regular maintenance of this component including replacement at recommended intervals can ensure optimal performance of your truck's engine.
