DESCRIPTION
The Fuel Pump, also known as FC9444RX, is an essential component of a truck's fuel system. Its main function is to transfer fuel from the tank to the engine at a specific pressure and flow rate. It works by using an electric motor to create suction that draws fuel through the pump's inlet and pushes it out through the outlet. The pressure regulator in the pump ensures that the fuel is delivered at a constant pressure, which helps maintain optimal engine performance. A malfunctioning Fuel Pump can cause poor acceleration, stalling or even prevent your truck from starting altogether. Therefore, it's important to ensure that this component is functioning properly and replaced when necessary.
