DESCRIPTION
Fuel Injection Pump: The Fuel Injection Pump (part number 3938381RX) is a vital component in the fuel delivery system of a diesel truck. It pressurizes and injects fuel into the engine cylinders at the correct time and in the correct amount to ensure proper combustion. The pump is driven by the engine's camshaft, and uses a series of internal components such as plungers, barrels, and delivery valves to regulate fuel flow. A malfunctioning injection pump can cause a range of issues including poor fuel economy, decreased power output, and even engine damage.
