DESCRIPTION
A grease fitting, also known as a grease nipple, is a small device used to allow lubrication of a part or component. It is a small metal fitting with a threaded end that is screwed into a hole in the part to be lubricated. The other end of the fitting has a small opening that allows grease to be pumped into the part. The grease fitting is commonly used in automotive and industrial applications to ensure that moving parts are properly lubricated.
