DESCRIPTION
Filter Tube, also known as air filter tube or intake tube, is a component of the truck's air intake system. It is responsible for delivering clean and filtered air to the engine for combustion. The filter tube is typically made of plastic or rubber and connects the air filter housing to the throttle body or carburetor. Over time, this part may become cracked or damaged, causing unfiltered air to enter the engine which can lead to decreased performance and increased emissions. Regular replacement of the filter tube is important for maintaining optimal engine function and prolonging the life of other components in the air intake system.
