DESCRIPTION
The Fan Hub, also known as the fan clutch assembly, is a component of the engine cooling system in trucks. It is responsible for controlling the speed of the fan that draws air through the radiator to cool down the engine. The Fan Hub consists of a pulley and a clutch mechanism that engages and disengages with the engine's crankshaft. When engaged, it allows the fan to spin at full speed and provide maximum cooling efficiency. Conversely, when disengaged, it reduces drag on the engine and improves fuel economy. The Part Number 3013384 refers to a specific Fan Hub model that fits certain truck engines.
