DESCRIPTION
The Fan Hub, also known as a fan clutch, is a component located between the engine and the radiator of a truck. Its main function is to control the speed at which the engine's cooling fan operates. The Fan Hub is responsible for engaging and disengaging the fan based on the temperature of the engine. When the engine is cold, it does not require as much cooling and therefore doesn't need a high-speed fan. Conversely, when the engine is hot, it requires more cooling and needs a high-speed fan to keep it from overheating. The Fan Hub uses a viscous fluid to control its operation, which engages or disengages based on changes in temperature. It is an essential component in ensuring that your truck's engine stays cool and runs smoothly.
