DESCRIPTION
An engine fan is a component of a truck's cooling system that helps regulate the temperature of the engine by drawing in air and circulating it across the radiator. The engine fan is typically mounted on the front of the engine and powered by a belt connected to the crankshaft. The fan blades are designed to move air through the radiator at different speeds depending on the temperature of the coolant. When temperatures are high, such as when climbing steep hills or towing heavy loads, the fan will spin faster to increase airflow and cool down the engine. Part number 3811963 is a specific model of an engine fan that is compatible with certain types of trucks and engines.
