DESCRIPTION
The Engine Piston Kit, represented by part number 3801246, is a combination of parts that work together to transfer energy from the combustion process to the crankshaft in an internal combustion engine. The kit includes a piston, piston rings, and wrist pin. The piston is a cylindrical component that moves up and down in the cylinder bore as fuel is ignited and released. It is attached to the connecting rod via the wrist pin, which allows it to pivot as it moves. The piston rings are positioned around the outside of the piston and serve to seal off combustion gases from entering into the crankcase while also facilitating lubrication between moving parts. Together, these components make up an essential part of any engine system that relies on internal combustion for power generation.
