DESCRIPTION
An Ignition Coil, also known as a spark coil, is an induction coil that transforms the low voltage from the battery to the high voltage needed to ignite fuel in an internal combustion engine. The ignition coil is a critical component of the ignition system and works by creating a magnetic field when current flows through it. When the current is interrupted, the magnetic field collapses and induces a high voltage across the coil's terminals, which then produces a spark at the spark plug. The part number for this particular Ignition Coil is 5652915.
