DESCRIPTION
The Electronic Interface Module (EIM) is a crucial component of a truck's electrical system. Its primary function is to act as an interface between the truck's various electronic systems, such as the engine control module and the transmission control module, and the driver display unit. The EIM receives data from these systems and translates it into a format that can be easily understood by the driver. This allows drivers to monitor critical information about their vehicle, such as engine RPMs, oil pressure, and coolant temperature. Additionally, the EIM can be used to diagnose faults in the truck's electrical system by providing error codes that can be read using diagnostic software. Overall, the EIM plays an important role in ensuring that trucks operate safely and efficiently on the road.
