DESCRIPTION
The Electronic Step Kit (part number 4024835) is a truck component that improves accessibility to the cab or trailer by providing an automatically extending and retracting step. The kit includes a control module, electric motor, and wiring harness to power and operate the step. When the door of the truck is opened, the control module activates the electric motor, causing the step to extend outward. Once weight is detected on the step, it remains stable and secure for safe entry into or exit from the vehicle. When closing the door, the electronic step retracts back into its original position for streamlined appearance and improved ground clearance during driving. This kit offers convenience and safety for drivers who frequently enter or exit their truck cab or trailer while parked in various locations with different ground heights.
