DESCRIPTION
The Cylinder Block Kit (part number 5578978) is a component of the engine of a commercial truck manufactured by Cummins®. It is a complete assembly that includes the cylinder block, cylinder liners, and other related components required for the proper functioning of the engine. The cylinder block is the main structure of the engine, which houses the cylinders, pistons, and other internal components. The cylinder liners are the cylindrical sleeves that are inserted into the cylinder block to provide a smooth surface for the pistons to move up and down. The Cylinder Block Kit is an essential part of the engine and is responsible for the proper functioning of the combustion process.
