DESCRIPTION
The Automatic Starting Control Module (ASCM) is an electronic device used in Cummins® engines to control the starting process. It monitors various engine parameters such as oil pressure, coolant temperature, and battery voltage to ensure that the engine starts smoothly and safely. The ASCM also provides diagnostic information to help identify any issues that may arise during the starting process.
