DESCRIPTION
A Control Rod is a crucial component of a truck's engine system, used to regulate the movement of various engine parts. Part number 3918297 is specifically designed for use in diesel engines and is responsible for controlling the fuel injection pump's timing. This component comprises of a long, slender rod made from durable materials that can withstand high temperatures and pressures. The control rod works by transmitting motion from the governor lever to the fuel injection pump, which in turn regulates the amount of fuel delivered to the engine cylinders.
