DESCRIPTION
The Fuel Filler Cap, also known as a gas cap, is a small but important component of a truck's fuel system. Its main purpose is to prevent gasoline or diesel fuel from spilling out of the tank while driving and to keep dirt and debris out of the fuel system. The Fuel Filler Cap seals tightly onto the fuel tank opening and is usually made from durable materials such as plastic or metal. It typically screws on and off easily for refueling purposes. A missing or damaged Fuel Filler Cap can cause problems such as decreased fuel efficiency, engine misfires, and even check engine lights. Therefore, it is important to ensure that this component is in good condition at all times.
