DESCRIPTION
The Cam Follower Housing, also known as the rocker arm housing, is a component in a truck's engine that houses the camshaft and rocker arms. The camshaft rotates within the housing, which causes the rocker arms to move up and down, opening and closing the engine's valves. The housing is typically made of cast iron or aluminum to withstand high temperatures and pressure. Proper lubrication is essential for this component to function properly as it experiences constant friction and wear. If damaged or worn out, it can lead to valve train failure and potentially severe engine damage.
