DESCRIPTION
A camshaft kit is a set of components that includes a camshaft and related parts such as lifters, bearings, and seals. The camshaft is responsible for opening and closing the engine's valves in a precise sequence to allow air and fuel into the combustion chamber and exhaust gases out. The lifters ride on the lobes of the camshaft to actuate the valves, while bearings support the camshaft's rotational motion. Seals help prevent oil leaks from around the camshaft.
