DESCRIPTION
An air tube, also known as an air intake hose, is a flexible component that connects the air filter box to the engine's throttle body. The tube is typically made of rubber or plastic and has ridges or convolutes to allow for expansion and contraction due to temperature changes. Air tubes are crucial for delivering clean air from the air filter to the engine intake manifold, where it mixes with fuel and ignites in the combustion chamber.
