DESCRIPTION
An aftercooler core is a component found in the air intake system of a truck that cools compressed air from the turbocharger before it enters the engine. The 3028997 aftercooler core is designed specifically for use in heavy-duty trucks and is responsible for reducing the temperature of the compressed air, which increases its density and improves engine performance. This part works by passing hot compressed air through a series of tubes or fins that are cooled by ambient air, typically provided by a fan or other means.
