DESCRIPTION

An Aftercooler, also known as an intercooler, is a component in a truck's turbocharged or supercharged engine system that cools the compressed air after it leaves the turbocharger or supercharger. This is important because compressed air tends to become hot and less dense, which reduces engine performance. The Aftercooler uses either air or water to cool the compressed air before it enters the engine's intake manifold.
