DESCRIPTION
An aftercooler kit, also known as a charge air cooler, is a component used in turbocharged and supercharged engines to cool the compressed air before it enters the engine. The aftercooler kit includes a heat exchanger that cools the hot compressed air by passing it through a series of tubes or fins where it is cooled by ambient air or coolant. This helps increase engine efficiency and power output while reducing emissions.
