DESCRIPTION
An aftercooler, also known as an intercooler, is a component used in turbocharged and supercharged engines to cool the compressed air before it enters the engine's intake manifold. This is done to increase the density of the air, allowing for more fuel to be burned and more power to be produced. The aftercooler is typically located between the turbocharger or supercharger and the engine's intake manifold. As hot compressed air enters the aftercooler, it passes through a series of tubes or fins that dissipate heat from the air before it enters the engine. The 3919805 model is a specific type of aftercooler designed for use in certain truck models.
