DESCRIPTION
An Aftercooler, also known as an intercooler, is a device used in turbocharged and supercharged engines to cool the compressed air before it enters the engine. The Aftercooler reduces the temperature of the hot air produced by the compressor, increasing its density and allowing more air to be packed into the engine's cylinders. This results in improved combustion efficiency and increased power output. The Part Number 3821696 refers to a specific Aftercooler model used in certain truck engines.
