DESCRIPTION
An Aftercooler Core, also known as an Intercooler, is a component in a truck's engine system that cools compressed air from the turbocharger before it enters the engine. This helps increase engine efficiency and power output by reducing the temperature of the combustion air. The Aftercooler Core consists of a series of tubes or fins through which the compressed air passes, allowing heat to dissipate into the surrounding environment. The core itself is often made of aluminum or other heat-conductive materials to aid in cooling. Part Number 3393493 refers to a specific model or type of Aftercooler Core used in certain truck engines.
