DESCRIPTION
The By-Pass Spin-On Filter is a component of a truck's lubrication system. Its primary function is to remove contaminants from the engine oil, preventing damage to engine components and prolonging the life of the oil. The filter works by diverting a small portion of oil flow away from the main system, filtering it through a replaceable cartridge, and then returning it back into circulation. This process ensures that even very small particles are removed from the oil, providing maximum protection for the engine. The LF778 is a specific model of By-Pass Spin-On Filter designed for use in trucks and other heavy-duty vehicles.
