DESCRIPTION
The Lube, By-Pass Spin-On Filter, also known as part number LF3848, is a component used in truck engines to filter the engine oil. This type of filter works by diverting a portion of the engine oil flow through an independent filtration system that removes contaminants from the oil. The filtered oil is then returned to the engine through a bypass valve.
