DESCRIPTION
A Spin-On Lube Filter, also known as LF3479, is a component of the oil filtration system in a truck. It is designed to remove contaminants from the engine oil and prevent them from circulating through the engine. The filter consists of a canister with a threaded base that screws onto the engine block and contains a replaceable filter element. When the engine is running, oil flows through the filter and debris such as dirt, metal particles, and sludge are trapped by the filter media. The Spin-On Lube Filter typically needs to be replaced at regular intervals to ensure proper engine performance and longevity.
