DESCRIPTION
A Spin-On Lube Filter, identified by its part number LF3378, is a component of a truck's lubrication system. This filter is designed to trap and remove contaminants such as dirt, metal particles, and sludge from the engine oil. The filter housing contains a pleated filter element made of paper or synthetic fibers that captures these particles as the oil flows through it. A valve in the center of the filter allows oil to enter and exit while also preventing unfiltered oil from circulating in the engine. Over time, the filter becomes clogged with debris and must be replaced at regular intervals to prevent engine damage. The Spin-On Lube Filter is an essential component for maintaining engine performance and longevity in trucks.
