DESCRIPTION
A Full-Flow Spin-On Lube Filter, also known as Part Number LF3455, is a component of the truck's lubrication system. It is designed to filter engine oil by trapping contaminants such as dirt, metal particles and sludge before they can damage the engine. The filter operates using a spin-on design that allows for easy installation and replacement. As oil flows through the filter, it passes through a filtering element that captures impurities. Once trapped, these impurities cannot circulate back into the engine and are removed when the filter is replaced. Regular maintenance of this key component helps ensure optimal engine performance and longevity.
