DESCRIPTION
A Full-Flow Spin-On Lube Filter, also known by its part number LF3443, is an automotive component that filters the oil in a truck's engine. Its design allows for full-flow filtration, meaning that all of the oil pumped through the engine passes through the filter before returning to lubricate other parts. The spin-on feature refers to its easy installation and removal process; it screws onto a mount on the engine block and can be easily replaced when needed. The filter itself consists of a cylindrical housing with a pleated filter element inside, which catches contaminants such as dirt and metal particles from the oil as it flows through.
