DESCRIPTION
The Primary Air Filter (part number AF942M) is a crucial component of a truck's air intake system. Its purpose is to prevent dirt, dust, and other contaminants from entering the engine and causing damage. The filter is typically located in the air cleaner housing, which is situated on top of the engine. As air passes through the filter, any particles that are larger than the filter media's pores are trapped and prevented from reaching the engine. Over time, the filter will become clogged with debris and must be replaced to maintain proper airflow and prevent decreased performance or potential engine damage.
